I was born to a family of orchardists here in the Yakima Valley and have lived here most of my life. I graduated from Selah High School and earned my BA degree from Central Washington University. My husband, Doug, and I have two teenage sons. In my spare time I enjoy spending time outdoors, skiing, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family.

My mission as a teacher is to enrich the lives of young children by helping them see the world through God’s eyes and to guide my students in treating one another with the love and patience of Jesus, while also teaching them the basics in academics.
This is my tenth year of teaching kindergarten here at YACS. Each year has been totally different, and I have loved every one of them. I cannot wait to see what this year brings!
