About Mrs. White
Shirlie White has been teaching music for 27 years. Eleven of those years have been here at YACS. She taught in Oregon, Hawaii, and Montana before moving here to Yakima in 1998.
She lives on a small farm/ranch west of Yakima with her husband, Dan. She has a Shelty dog, Kelsea and a Manx cat, Kali. She has a daughter, Wendi who lives in Issaquah and works for Microsoft and a son, Brandon, who is a pediatric physician doing his residency in Loma Linda, California.
